Grove Cottage

Situated along the historically significant MacFarlane Homestead District and West Coconut Grove, Grove Cottage is a restored 1941 vernacular-style residence that reflects the enduring legacy of Bahamian craftsmanship in South Florida. Torre Companies served as the general contractor, carefully rehabilitating this two-unit cottage to preserve its cultural and architectural essence. The scope of work included structural reinforcements and modern upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, all executed with a focus on maintaining the home’s original form and functionality. Each residence offers two bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, laundry, and living area—thoughtfully updated for modern living while honoring the simplicity that defines its historic roots.
