At Torre Companies, we take pride in our contribution to the restoration of the historic La Palma Hotel in Coral Gables. Spanning an impressive 27,000 square feet, this landmark, originally known as the Cla-Reina hotel, holds a significant place as one of the city’s inaugural hotels, designated a Historic Landmark by the City of Coral Gables and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Collaborating closely with the property’s owners, we meticulously revitalized the structure while preserving its original charm. This involved enhancing the building’s structural integrity, replacing the roof, redesigning restaurant spaces, and upgrading mechanical and electrical systems. Today, as the iconic “Cla-Reina” signage adorns the building’s facade and the restored “La Palma” neon lettering once again illuminates the Coral Gables nightscape, La Palma stands as a testament to our dedication to preserving architectural heritage while meeting the needs of the community for years to come.
