BERMUDA VILLAGE

Influenced by Coral Gables founder George Merrick’s exotically themed villages, the townhomes of Bermuda Village bring a distinctive touch to the notable styles of Coral Gables architecture. Bermuda Village is made up of 30,000 total square feet and features 30 unique townhomes on 3.3 acres of land. Designed by acclaimed Duany Plater-Zyberk in Bermudian architectural style, the townhomes noteworthy features include white cement roof tiles, tight roof eaves, sculptural parapets and well elements, garden gates, and colonial single-hung windows. At the heart of the village sits a community pool and pocket park that contains one of several existing stands of live oaks and pine trees that were preserved during construction. Bermuda Village is conveniently located on a major collector road that links the Shops at Merrick Park to the University of Miami, making it a contemporary staple of the City Beautiful’s passion for culture.
